Mr Jimmy Owusu-Kwarteng, has sent a message of congratulations to the Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Miss Barbara Serwaah Asamoah, on her appointment.
In his message mailed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) from Virginia, United States, Mr Owusu-Kwarteng a former Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Offinso South Constituency, said this was a reward for dedication, commitment and loyalty.
Miss Serwaah Asamoah twice contested and lost the Offinso South Constituency Parliamentary seat but continued to work hard for the NDC.
The message encouraged her to continue to demonstrate integrity and accountability as she was a role model to young Ghanaian women.
It also praised President John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity given to the youth to serve the nation.
