‘3 wise men’ to open tender for special projects

The special taskforce for the implementation of the president’s priority projects says it will soon open tender to enable both local and foreign contractors bid for various contracts toward delivering the president’s promises.

The taskforce is expected to supervise the construction of 200 secondary schools, an international airport and a new university in the Eastern region within the first term of the president’s mandate.

Speaking to XYZ News, the coordinator for the taskforce, Dr Steven Ayidiya, said the office has already started receiving calls from prospective investors expressing interest in the various projects.

Dr. Ayidiya noted that it is the intention of the taskforce to tackle all the projects simultaneously in order to avoid delay.
