Bui dam is 92% complete – chief executive

The Chief Executive of the Bui Power Authority Jabesh Amissah-Arthur have said the Bui dam is ninety two percent complete.

The Chief Executive said this when he took Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur around the project to inspect the extent of completion.

The Vice President intimated that government will continue to fulfill all its obligations towards the completion of the Bui hydro-electric project.

He emphasised that meeting the energy needs of the country is very critical for the development of the national economy and the government will therefore continue to discharge that duty.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur expressed delight at the progress of work so far and commended the workers for their effort.

The Bui dam when completed will augment the supply of electric power to the national electricity grid.
