National Service boss sacked

XYZ News can report that President John Mahama has dismissed the Executive Director of the National Service Secretariat, Vincent Kuagbenu.

A letter to that effect from the Chief of Staff Prosper Bani was served to Mr Kuagbenu on Monday April 15, 2013, officials have said.

He has been asked to take his accumulated leave.

XYZ News sources within the National Service Secretariat said the executive director was expected to announce his departure to the Board and Management of the Secretariat on Tuesday April 16, 2013.

XYZ News also gathered that Mr Kuagbenu is to be succeeded by the Deputy Director in charge of Finance and Administration, Alhassan Imoro who will act as executive director in the interim.
