Ellembelle MP keeps faith with people

Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, Mr. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah says despite his appointment as Cabinet Minister, he will continue to be in constant touch with his constituents to push forward development.

According to him, his job as Minister for Energy and Petroleum should not alienate him from the people who gave him their mandate to represent and articulate their concerns in Parliament.

Mr. Buah said this when he met with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch executives and driver unions as part of a “Thank You” tour in the constituency following his election.

He told the meeting that as a social democrat, the NDC was more interested with development at the grassroots and pledged to be in tune with the people to liaise with the District Assembly to find pragmatic solutions to their problems.

Mr. Buah assured the people that he would never disappoint them whenever they called on him to assist them undertake projects and also table their concerns on the floor of Parliament.

Mr. Buah congratulated the NDC executives for their vigilance during the last election and promised to work to bring more development to the area.
