Director of the Dankwa institute, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has described as unintelligent the report of the London-based Economic Intelligent Unit which suggests that the New Patriotic Party is likely to lose its court case that challenges the legitimacy of President John Dramani Mahama.
According to him, since the petitioners in accordance with the Supreme Court ruling are yet to file their evidence by way of affidavit, it will be practically impossible for any unit to arrive at a conclusion such as the EIUs.
Speaking on Behind the Headlines on Radio Univers, Mr. Otchere Darko advised that the report be taken with a pinch of salt and discarded in the bin.
The EIU report says the Supreme Court is likely to uphold the presidential results as declared by the EC, given what it called “lack of alleged evidence of systematic malpractice.”
