Gov’t Pharmacists threaten to strike

Ghana’s health sector is set to face serious challenges with regard to the Single Spine Salary Structure in the coming weeks.

The latest to raise their concern is the Government Hospital and Pharmacists Association (GHOSPA).

The Government Hospital and Pharmacists Association have threatened to withdraw their services effective April 8, if guidelines on their market premium are not implemented immediately.

Their decision comes after the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) and the University Teachers Association of Ghana simultaneously threatened to withdraw their services by next week if promises made them are not fulfilled.
