The Northern Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for re-assigning Mr. Bede Ziedeng as the Northern Regional Minister.
The party also assured their readiness to fully work with him to deliver the ‘Better Ghana Agenda’ to change the fortunes of the people.
“We hope with his wealth of knowledge about the NDC, as the former Ag. General Secretary of the party coupled with his past working experience in the region, it is our fervent hope that he will deliver to the admiration of all in the region,” a statement by the party said.
The statement, signed by Alhaji Alhassan Imoro Issifu Umar, NDC Northern Regional Secretary, thanked the out-going Northern Regional Minister, Mr. Moses Bukari Mabengba, for his sterling performance that has brought enormous peace and tranquility to the region.
It said under his tenure, the region chalked appreciable level of development and therefore wished him well in his future endeavours.
