Tamale GYEEDA beneficiaries demonstrate against management

Some beneficiaries of the Community Police Protection Unit of the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA) have hit the streets of Tamale on Tuesday.

This follows other beneficiaries of GYEEDA in Yendi who have called for the dismissal of their Coordinator.

Among other concerns, the protesters demanded full payment of their unpaid five months allowances.

Abdullah Shamudeen, Spokesperson for the agitated GYEEDA beneficiaries accused the regional Coordinator, Mohammed Adam Amin Abio of victimization.

According to him, Adam Abio requested for their uniforms even though their recruitment period has not elapsed.

The protesters suspected foul play and hence has called for President John Mahama’s intervention.
