Gold dealer robbed at Wassa Akropong

A 42-year-old gold dealer, Emmanuel Ayittey, was on Monday robbed of GHc3,500 by armed robbers at Wassa Aropong who inflicted cutlass wounds on him and is on admission at the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital.

The police said the robbers attacked Ayittey at his residence at Wassa Akropong around 0240 hours on Monday, February 11.

No arrest had been made and police are investigating the crime.
