Mahama’s all inclusive government unnecessary-Tamale NDC man

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Team in the northern region, Prince K. Bansah has criticized President Mahama’s all inclusive style of governance.

His criticism followed elderly statesman, Mr. K.B. Asante’s caution that President Mahama should tread cautiously in his quest to have an all-inclusive government.

Moving in the right direction, Prince K. Bansah suggested that President Mahama’s appointments should be typical and reflective of the NDC ideologies.

He recalled the numerous NDC foot soldier agitations that characterized the previous NDC administration led by the late President Evans Atta Mills due to what he described as the snobbish nature of some government appointees.

He said, “The point here is that most of the agitations that we had as party foot soldiers were due to the fact that many of the appointments by the former President Atta Mills were not practical of the NDC and I can tell you that several agitations came about because most of those ministers who were appointed by the former President didn’t really want to be so much opened to most of the foot soldiers who struggled well enough for the party to come into power.”

Prince Bansah Advised President Mahama saying, “This time round we think that it is important for the President to shun such ministers and bring on board people who are competent and are typical NDC in character; if the President wants to avoid such agitations the best thing for him to do is to ensure that the people that are being appointed are critically examined based on their competence and he should also take so much advice from the youth.”

According to Prince Bansah, appointing full blooded NDC members to key government positions will help minimize such agitations.
