Christians asked to be faithful in serving God

The Right Reverend Winfred Yao Ametefie, the Methodist Bishop of Tema, on Wednesday appealed to Christians to begin the New Year with a resolution to serve God in all faithfulness and humility.

Rev Ametefie who was speaking at the St Paul Methodist Cathedral in Tema reminded Christians that Christ was their inheritance; “Christians should allow Christ to take the centre stage in 2013…Let us reflect Christ in us”.

He commended the congregation of the Tema Dioceses for their collective modest contributions towards the upkeep of the church and appealed to them to do more in evangelization in order to help increase membership of the congregation at the society level.

“This we can achieve if we resolve to strictly abide by the anthem of building the church with a strong goodwill and a strong good heart”, he said.
