President to address the nation on New Year’s Eve

President John Dramani Mahama will be addressing the nation on New Year eve. The speech will be his first since he won the presidential elections on December 7.

The president arrived from South Africa where he had been away on a private visit the early hours of this evening.

He was met on arrival by Vice President Paa Kwasi Amissah Arthur and some Ministers of State.

Spokesperson for the president, John Jinapor says the president will use the speech to give his New Year message to Ghanaians.
