Christmas is time to live peacefully with all

The Reverend Johnson Owusu, an Associate Pastor at the Grace Baptist Church, Amakom-Kumasi, has asked all Ghanaians to accept to live in peace and harmony as they celebrate Christmas.

The occasion, he said, provided the opportunity for people to reconcile with their God, themselves and neighbours.

Rev. Owusu was preaching at a Christmas Day service on the theme: “The Incredible Act of God’s Love to Humankind”.

He expressed concern about the exploitation by some traders and service providers by way of price hikes during Christmas and said this was gradually eroding the significance of the occasion.

Christmas is not just for shopping and entertainment; it must be used to share the peace message to mankind by Christ.

Rev. Owusu encouraged all to show love to the poor and needy during the festivity.
