Government declare Christmas, New year Days public holidays

The Ministry of the Interior has declared Tuesday and Wednesday December 25 and 26 as statutory public holidays to mark Christmas and Boxing days respectively.

A statement signed by Mr William K. Aboah, Minister of the Interior, also declared Tuesday January 1, 2013, the New Year day, as statutory public holiday.

It asked all to take note of the days and observe the holidays as such throughout the country.
