NDC Zongo Caucus Usa Congratulates President Mahama

The NDC Zongo Caucus USA has sent its congratulatory message to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, on his elections as the next President of the Republic of Ghana, last weekend. In a press statement signed by the Chairman of the Caucus, Abdul Aziz Shaibu, it says, in spite of the very limited time, (about three months) that the President had had to campaign before the elections, as against Nana Addo’s three years of roaming and roving all nook and cranny in Ghana, he has won with a wider margin, compared to the 2008 NDC election victory figures.

He expressed excitement as well for the commanding majority lead the party took of the house of the legislature, adding that, “This would make is very easy for the President to implement the “Better Ghana Agenda” in our manifesto, and thereby makes our victory an easy one, come next four years.”

Touching on the allegation of rigging, that the NPP is accusing the party of, and their subsequent violent attacks against the media and the NDC supporters, Mr. Shaibu stated that, the NPP cronies and gurus who always claim to be lawyers have to abide by the advice given by the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Mr. Kodjo Afarijan, to take their grievance to court, and stop attacking innocent NDC supporters and members of the media, as nobody is responsible for their predicament, but their own selves.
