The Interim Coordination Committee of the re-registered Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute has congratulated President John Dramani Mahama, the President Elect, and Ghanaians for displaying maturity during the 2012 elections.
The Institute expressed gratitude to God for seeing Ghana through the December 2012 elections without any major problems.
A statement issued and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Friday by Mr Benjamin Anyagre, commended the National Peace Council, the religious bodies, traditional authorities and other stakeholders who contributed towards the achievement of a peaceful election.
It also congratulated the security agencies for the unique display of professionalism exhibited to ensure this peaceful, free and fair election.
“Finally the National Electoral Commission should be commended for the efficient organization of the elections,” it added.
