I will win Okaikoi seat – Anita Abaidoo

Ms Harriet Anita Abaidoo, the parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi South Constituency on the ticket of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has stated that she is in high spirit due to her campaign strategies and will be pronounced winner after December 7.

The CPP candidate has adopted what she describes as the “transport approach” of campaigning.

She was spotted in the early hours of Friday November 23, campaigning in a 207 commercial transport vehicle plying from Kaneshie to Teshie all suburbs of Accra.

According to her, she adopted this strategy to enable her interact more comfortably with electorates and preach her message of hope and vision for the constituency.

This, she explained, gives her the opportunity to articulate her campaign messages with boldness since many people have become fed up with the usual arguments on radio.

Ms. Abaidoo in an interview with this reporter revealed that her choice of transport approach is to reach out to electorates who could not be met at one particular destination, and therefore, her transport approach has rather helped her disseminated her messages across large heterogeneous audience.

She mentioned that her aim of contesting the parliamentary seat for the Constituency is to empower Okaikoi South for participatory democracy and development in respect of Ghana’s ongoing political process and socio-economic development.
