Ghanaians urged to vote massively for women parliamentarians

As the general election draw closer, Abantu for Development, a women advocacy group, has stressed on the need for women’s participation in the decision making process.

Speaking at a media briefing in Accra, the Director of Gender Studies and Human Rights Documentation Centre, Mrs. Dorcas Coker-Appiah, said women have proven themselves beyond doubt that they can contribute efficiently and effectively to the socio-economic development of the country.

She urged Ghanaians to vote massively for women parliamentary candidates, whiles ensuring a peaceful election in December.
