WHO donates medical items to MOH

The World Health Organisation (WHO) on Friday donated medical items worth $12,000 to the Ministry of Health for the upkeep of the victims of the collapsed Melcom Shopping Mall at Achimota in the Greater Accra Region.

Dr Iddrisa Sow, WHO Representative, who presented the items, congratulated the security agencies for their quick response to the November 7 disaster.

Dr Sylvester Anemana, Chief Director of the Ministry of Health thanked the WHO for the donation.
