Gov’t denies Prez Mahama’s convoy killed three people

Spokesperson to the President, John Abdulai Jinapor, has denied a Daily Guide publication alleging that President Mahama’s convoy killed three persons in the Northern Region.

Reacting to the publication, Mr. Jinapor stated that the President’s convoy did not run over any pregnant woman or involved in any accident in the Northern Region.

He described the publication as another desperate ploy by the opposition to divert attention from the President’s successful campaign in the Northern Region which has further boosted the popularity of the President in the region.

“We regret the adoption of crude tactics by some desperate and self seeking people who have resorted to publishing false stories about the president in the media”, Mr. Jinapor noted.

He added that the opposition and their agents will fail in their attempt at fabricating stories to destroy the image of President John Dramani Mahama.
