NDC’s education policy more realistic – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has said that the NDC‘s policy on education is the most realistic compared to his opponents.

The President insisted the NDC’s educational policy was not a populace attempt to deceive Ghanaians.

He said this at Kpetoe in the Agbotimeh Ziope constituency in the Volta Region on Friday, as part of his campaign tour in that region.

He said: “They know that the programme we have outlined for education is the most realistic programme for education at the moment. Everybody can promise free transport, free education and free food but you need to look at the development of the country and the resources that are available and apply the resources in the best interest of the country.”

The NDC flag bearer further stated that the track record of his party indicates that they deliver on their promises.

He again reiterated his promise to build a university in Eastern Region which is the home region of the NPP’s Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo saying, “yesterday in Ho, I made another promise that we are going to build one more public university in the last region that does not have a public university and this region is Nana Akufo-Addo’s own region”

“He hasn’t thought that his own region deserves a public university so the NDC will build it for him”, he added.
