Prospective pilgrims in Tamale hail Hajj arrangement

“My name was short listed last year and I paid my money but, I could not the travel. I think when the process is decentralized it will be easy for prospective pilgrims”, she said.

Mr. Abdul Samie Issah, the spokesperson for AHTT, assured pilgrims that his outfit had learnt lessons from challenges the company faced last year and that concrete measures had been put in place to ensure problem free Hajj.

He said all the 482 prospective pilgrims registered would be check in from Tamale airport to Kotoka and proceed to Mecca and appealed to them not to carry with them items such as cola nuts, honey and food stuffs.
