E. T. Mensah is useless – Prampram Kingsmen

Kingsmen of Ningo Prampram Traditional Area in the Greater Accra Region are pointing accusing figures at their Member of Parliament, Enoch Teye Mensah, for meddling in chieftaincy and land disputes in the area.

Aside from that, Mr. E. T Mensah who doubles as the Minister for Water Resource, Works and Housing, has been labeled by his constituents as a non-performing asset whose continuous stay in office would deteriorate their plights.

Speaking to The Moment in an exclusive interview, a leading member of Osu-Wem family of Prampram, the custodians of Prampram land and head of the Prampram Traditional Council, Mrs. Agnes Nortey Sai, alleged that the latter has abuse his office by fronting for one Diana Odonkor to become “Se Nye” to wit stool mother for the Osu-Wem family.

She pointed out that the minister also used his contacts and connections in government to impose an alien on the Ablawakor royal family as their stool mother or (Se Nye).

She recalled that a few months ago, E.T Mensah allegedly hired land-guards to shoot at some elders and priests during the Kpledzo festival.

Mrs. Nortey Sai revealed that, though some of the hoodlums who were hired by the minister to foment trouble were arrested by the police, he again, used his influence to have them released.

She further disclosed that as an opinion leader she footed the hospital bills of the people who sustained injuries as a result of the attack by the hired land-guards.

“But when E.T Mensah heard that I helped these people, he threatened to teach me a lesson”, she lamented.

The royal families which are at logger heads included the Sharyena, Annye and Cla royal Families of Prampram”

“Being the head of Dzaase of Prampram will not allow them”

She allegedly said E.T Mensah used his MP Common Fund on his girlfriend, Lorinda.

All attempts to reach Mr. E. T. Mensah for his side of the story yielded fruitless result as calls to his phones were not answered.
