Educational achievements to win votes for NDC

The government’s phenomenal landmark in providing educational opportunities in the last three years in the country, are enough for Ghanaians to retain the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in power in Election 2012.

Mr Desmond Mensah, President of the Ho Polytechnic branch of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the NDC said this in an interview on Monday.

He said the establishment of two new universities; one in the Volta Region and the other in Brong Ahafo Region, distribution of laptop computers to school children, and replacement of schools under trees with decent classroom blocks, throughout the country, would win votes for NDC in December.

Mr Mensah said: “We believe in practical things, and the provision of all these in just three and a half years, is an unequalled record in contemporary political history of Ghana”.

He said the Network would undertake vigorous campaign to ensure overwhelming victory for the party, and called on the youth, especially students, to join the “John Mahama 2012” campaign for a “better future.”
