Cadres in the Eastern Region have called for the total mobilization of all structures of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to join the campaign of the party to ensure victory in the 2012 general elections.
The cadres urged the leadership of the party at all levels to strategize for the inclusion of former Minister’s of State under various NDC governments, former District Chief Executives, Members of Parliament, government appointees and executives of the party in the campaign.
This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a meeting of representatives of cadres from all the districts in the Eastern Region and a special Cadres Task Force from the Office of the President at Koforidua.
The cadres pledge their support for President John Dramani Mahama and promised to work more than they had ever done to ensure his victory at the 2012 elections.
The communiqué called for total unity among the rank and file of cadres and party activists in the region.
