Some 20 students who were arrested for faking documents for their National Service placement in Tamale would be arraigned before court today.

The faked documents supposedly from the University of Education Winneba, was detected on Wednesday by the National Service Secretariat in the Northern Regional Capital.

Radio XYZ’s Northern regional correspondent, Kizito Abagoami reports that only 9 out of the 20 students will appear in court since the rest are at large.

“11 of the detected have managed to escape and only 9 have been handed over to the Tamale Police” Kizito Abagoami said.

He added that “the metropolitan Police DSP Abanga who confirmed this to us also said the cells are so full that if more people are arrested they won’t know what to do”.
