Veep Amissah-Arthur back from burial of late Ethiopian Premier

Vice-President Kwesi Bekoe returned to Accra on Monday from Addis Ababa after attending the funeral of President Meles Zenawi

He told newsmen at the Kotoka International Airport, the funeral afforded African leaders an opportunity to interact with each other with a view to pushing forward the development agenda of the continent.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur described the late Premier, who was buried on Sunday in the Ethiopian capital, as a visionary leader.

The Vice President was accompanied by the Deputy Foreign Affairs, Mr. Chris Kpodo and Alhaji Muhamad Mumuni, Foreign Affairs Minister, who joined the Ghanaian delegation from Tehran, Iran, after attending the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.
