ECG to improve upon services

Power outages in the country are partly due to short fall in power generation, high demand for energy, and small size of conductors.

Mr. William Hutton-Mensa, acting Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), who said this, gave the assurance that the ECG was taking steps to resolve its challenges so that it could give good services to customers.

He was speaking at a meeting with stakeholders, including regional directors of ECG, to deliberate on how to improve on ECG services, on Friday in Koforidua. The Eastern Regional Director of the ECG, Mr. Arthur Forson, said the company would work towards improving its services.
