27-year-old man stabbed to death at Kyebi

A 27-year-old man has been allegedly stabbed to death at Asiakwa near Kyebi in the Eastern region.

Kofi Ofori was found dead by a river in the early hours of Wednesday.

He is reported to have had knife wounds in his abdomen.

No arrests have been made but the police in the region have confirmed to XYZ News that they are investigating the circumstances that led to his death.

Asiakwa Police commander, DSP Teye Mantey said the victim was stabbed four times in the abdomen. He added that the body has since been deposited at the Kibi Government Hospital for autopsy.
