Christians asked to eschew jealousy

The Reverend Dr. Thomas Yawson, a gospel artist has appealed to Christians to eschew jealousy and unite, to attract other people into the kingdom of God.

He also cautioned pastors and church leaders to stop backbiting and pray for each other so that “they can move mightily together”.

Rev. Yawson was speaking at the annual Champion’s Prayers Conference of the living Grace Ministry in sunyani.

The conference, on the theme: “Kingdom Praise”, was attended by members from 14 branches of the church in the country.

Rev. Yawson appealed to the church to intensify praise and worship activities, “to show appreciation to God for all that he has done in our lives”.

Bishop Richard Owusu Akyeaw, General Overseer of the church, called on Christians to worship the Lord in truth and in spirit.**
