, AND INVITES GHANAIANS IN GEORGIA TO COME AND CELEBRATE PROF. MILLS’ LIFE

The Atlanta Chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) expresses its heartfelt congratulatory message to His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama on the occasion of his ascension to the highest office of the Nation as the President of Ghana. While mourning the painful loss of our dear peaceful and visionary leader, late President Mills, there could be no better consolation than to acknowledge the fact that the vision and hopes left behind by the late president can faithfully be carried out by a trusted, easy to approach and gentle successor like President John Dramani Mahama.

With Dr. Mahama assumption of this highest office of our dear nation, we are confidently assured that the unparallel legacy left behind by the late President will be carried out faithfully and loyally by the youngest President in the history of Ghana. Our confidence and support for the affable and gentle President is very much unflinching and we have no doubt in his ability to steer the affairs and unite the country, so as to continue the unprecedented achievements of Prof. Mills in ensuring a total and complete better Ghana.

Meanwhile, a memorial service is being organized for the late President, H.E. JEA Mills in conjunction with the Ghana Council of Georgia, the Okuapeman Association in Atlanta, the Ga Adangbe Association, and many other Ghanaian ethnic groupings in Georgia at the PEACHTREE BAPTIST CHURCH, 2108 BRIARCLIFF ROAD NE, ATLANTA, GA 30329 on FRIDAY, AUGUST 10, 2012.
