Official Day Of Rememberance For President Mills In The US

The City of Worcester popularly referred to as “Ghana’s New Hampshire” in the United State of America has officially declared Saturday August 4th 2012 as a day of remembrance for the late President of the Republic of Ghana.

This is in recognition of the bond of friendship and ceremonial ties that existed between the late President and the City of Worcester dating back to 2007 when then Presidential Candidate Mills was awarded the ceremonial keys to the city thereby making him a ceremonial citizen of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the USA.

In a Proclamation signed by the current City Mayor with the official seal of the city, the enviable achievements and peculiar virtues of Professor Mills were sufficiently espoused. Below is the unedited version of the Proclamation:
