Mills’ death: Akufo-Addo reschedules IEA encounter

The 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has requested the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) to reschedule his evening encounter with them, originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday 7th August, 2012, to a new date after the burial of the late President of the Republic, H E Prof John Evans Atta-Mills.

Government has announced August 8 -10 for the funeral and burial of Professor Mills. Following the death of President Mills, Nana Akufo-Addo called off his campaign to mourn with the rest of Ghanaians.

Information gathered also indicates that the President will be buried at the Flagstaff House in Accra.

The IEA will in due course announce a new date.**
