Algeria mourns with Ghana

The Algerian President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika has expressed his profound sympathy to the Government, bereaved family and people of Ghana following the sudden demise of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.

In a statement forwarded by the Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria on Friday, he said “having learnt with sadness and a heavy heart the sudden and painful demise of our dear brother, President Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, I wish, on behalf of the people and government of Algeria, to offer to you my sincerest and most heartfelt condolences”.

Furthermore, “I wish to pay a warm tribute to the memory of this great son of Africa who devoted his life to the service of his country, to our continent and to just causes around the world”.**
