President Mills leaves for Nigeria today

President John Evans Atta Mills will leave the shores of Ghana for Nigeria on a one-day working visit today, Tuesday August 24, 2012.

This was made known on the floor of parliament on Tuesday when his letter to inform the house was read by the Speaker.

President Mils is expected to engage in some bilateral deliberations with his Nigerian counterpart, President Goodluck Jonathan.

The recent foreign retail trade brouhaha is expected to take centre stage during the discussions.

In his absence, Vice President John Dramani Mahama will act in his stead.**
