Prez Mills swears-in two deputy Ministers

President John Mills has sworn-in Mr. Anthony Gyambibi and Mr. Kwadwo Owusu Agyemang, as Deputy Ministers of State.

Mr. Gyambibi partners Honourable Barton Oduro, as an additional Deputy Attorney General & Minister for Justices, while Mr. Owusu Agyemang replaces Honourable Ford Kamel, as Deputy Minister in-charge of Lands & Natural Resources.

Presenting them with their Instruments of Office, President Atta Mills thanked Mr. Gyambibi and Mr. Owusu Agyemang for accepting to serve the nation as Deputy Ministers of State.

His Excellency President Mills assured them of the full support of the Presidency and implored them to work “hand-in-glove” with their sector Ministers to help give greater meaning to the Government’s pledge to build a Better Ghana.

“We have promised to build a Better Ghana, and that must be our main focus” President Atta Mills said.

Brigadier General Joseph Nunoo-Mensah, National Security Advisor, who shared a few thoughts with the Deputy Ministers, entreated them to make “discipline” the bedrock of their stewardship.

On behalf of his colleague, Mr. Gyambibi thanked His Excellency President Atta Mills for giving them the opportunity to serve the nation at a new level, and promised to work “assiduously” to justify the trust and confidence reposed in them.**
