Six confirmed dead on Nkawkaw road

Police in Nkawkaw has confirmed to radioXYZonline.com that six passengers have died from a fatal motor accident on the Nkawkaw road.

The accident involved a sprinter passenger vehicle and a KIA mini bus at the Nkwakaw by-pass.

The KIA mini bus was believed to be coming from Tema.

Five persons on board the sprinter passenger vehicle were burnt to death on the spot when the vehicle burst into flames.

18 other passengers in the sprinter vehicle were rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkwakaw for medical treatment.

The driver of the KIA mini bus is also reported to have died instantly.

The Nkawkaw MTTU boss, DSP Albert Deletsa, who confirmed the news said the bodies have been sent to the morgue for autopsy.**
