Prophet asks Christians to lead lifestyles wealthy of emulation

Prophet Kwabena Tawiah, General Overseer of the Church of Rabbi at Ofankor near Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region, has called on Christians to lead good lifestyles for others to emulate.

Prophet Tawiah noted that the lifestyles of some Christians do not reflect on the teachings of the Holy Book, which make people in other religions or sects doubt the kind of doctrines being taught them in the churches.

He made the call when he launched a 40-day fasting and prayers at his church premises to intercede for the nation for peace and stability to prevail in the forthcoming 2012 general election.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Prophet Tawiah pointed out that Ghana stands tall among her neighbours in Africa in terms of peace during and after elections so there was the need to protect such a reputation.

“The whole world will be observing our impending elections critically and therefore it behooves on Ghanaians to guard against actions and utterances, especially from politicians, which are likely to create chaos.”

On the frequent accidents on the country’s roads, the Prophet said “there is the need for the religious bodies to pray for divine intervention from God.”**
