NPP set to win back political power

The Tafo-Pankrono Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Moses Kwame Donkor, has predicted victory for the party in Election 2012.

He said a majority of voters had become disappointed with the poor performance of the Mills Administration and would not renew its mandate.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi, Mr. Donkor said the NPP was the only political party that represented hope for the nation.

He accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of ineptness, corruption and bad governance.

These, he said, were fueling poverty, untold economic suffering and cynicism among the large section of the population.

Mr. Donkor appealed to supporters of the NPP to work harder to ensure victory for the party in December.

He tasked politicians to be civil and decent in the conduct of their electioneering, to avoid tension or nasty incidents.**
