Rawlings Will Not Campaign For NDC – Kofi Adams

The Special Aide to former President Rawlings, Kofi Adams says the NDC has lost track with its core values and unless the party comes back on track and live on the virtues by which the party was established, Mr Rawlings will not campaign in the December elections.

Reacting to comments made by the party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Mr Adams said his call for defiance is negative and not the positive defiance preached by the former president.

Rawlings does not have a problem with the party but rather with the leadership.

Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, says his call on members of the party to defy comments of former President Rawlings is based on the principles of the party.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia said the call does not show disrespect to the former President since it is positive.
