Bishop Emmanuel Tetteh, Founder of Kairos Chapel International, on Saturday handed-over the leadership of the church to his son, after more than fifty years service to the religious organization.
Bishop Prince Emmanuel Tetteh, the new leader, had served in the church in various capacities, and became acting Senior Pastor before his induction into office as a Bishop on Saturday in Accra.
Bishop Tetteh said, “the time has come for me to hand over the leadership of the church to a young and talented man of God, to steer the affairs of the church from where I have left, due to old age.”
Bishop Tetteh said he was convinced that the new leadership of the church would work selflessly to take the ministry to a greater height and pledged his continuous support for his son.
Bishop Prince Tetteh, the new leader, said currently, amidst temptations and challenges, the dynamics of the church had changed, and added that “but we cannot fail our master, who has called us to glory.’’
He pledged, “I shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet hardship, support any genuine developmental idea, and oppose any foe to ensure the survival and success of Kairos Chapel”
Bishop Samuel Noi Mensah, Presiding Bishop of Full Gospel Church International, called on leaders of organisations to identify a successor immediately after assuming office, to ensure harmony and peace.
Reverend Steve Mensah, General Overseer of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, advised the clergy to emulate Jesus Christ and avoid tendencies that would undermine their ministry.**
