NPA Denies Shortage Of LPG

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has denied that there is gas shortage in the Accra metropolis.

There are reports of gas shortages in some parts of Accra particularly Mamprobi, Dansoman, Kaneshie and its surrounding areas.

But the NPA has stated that it has adequate stock of gas to cater for the demand of consumers.

Public Relations Officer of the authority, Yaro Kasambata in an interview with XYZ News said there is no cause for complain.

“There is no gas shortage in the country; we have enough stock for a couple of weeks”. Mr. Kasambata said adding that “it is not a shortage at all because for now we have appreciable quantity of LPG”.

Mr. Kasmabata added that no gas distributing station should be blamed for any shortage.
