Nii Afotey Agbo calls for peace for Ga state

Mr. Joseph Nii Afotey Agbo, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, has appealed to the people of the region to overcome their differences and work for the betterment of the Ga state.

He expressed optimism about the rise of the Ga state if all opposing factions would forgo their differences and preach unity among the people.

Speaking at a ceremony to lift the ban on noise making in the Ga state, Nii Afotey Agbo appealed to Ghanaians to make the interest of the nation their major priority in all their endeavours, and work towards peaceful elections in December.

Nii Tackie Commey, the Member of Parliament for Odododiodio, called for the rehabilitation of the Shilla Market located in the constituency to stop people from selling on the streets.

He called for the return of all Ga State properties to the inhabitants and decried the high rate of unemployment among the youth in the area.

Nii Ayi- Bonte, Gbese Manste, who performed the rituals to lift the ban on drumming and noise making, prayed for peace and tranquility for the Ga state and successful elections in December.**
