Clergyman supports education of two orphans

Two orphans of the Children`s Service Section of the Calvary Apostolic Revival Church, are to receive scholarship packages to cover their education from their current level to the Junior High School.

Jeffrey Konney, a primary six pupil, and Jeron Konney, a primary three pupil, attend the Association International Community School, a private educational institution in Accra.

Chairman of the church, Reverend Ishmael Anum-Sai, who initiated the scholarships said that orphans, widows, needy and the physically challenged needed the best assistance in society.

He said “the African culture encourages sharing with the needy and poor,” to attract God’s blessings.

Rev. Anum-Sai said he will continue to cater for the well-being of members of the church .

Madam Anita Aryee and Eugenia Ashong, parents of the orphans commended the clergyman for supporting the education of the orphans.**
