Man killed in motor accident

Mr Godwin Quansah, a 25-year-old employee of the Ankobra FM at Axim, on Wednesday met his untimely death when his motor bike was involved in an accident near Tikobo No. One in the Jomoro District.

The Jomoro District Police Commander, Superintendent John Ferguson Dzineku, told the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Half Assini on Thursday.

The Police Commander said a cargo truck run over Mr Quansah and his bike, killing him instantly.

He said the driver of the truck, Mr Augustine Monor is helping the police in their investigation.

The Police Commander said the body of Mr Quansah has since been released to the family for burial after autopsy at the Half Assini Government Hospital while police investigation continued.**
