President John Evans Atta Mills has nominated Mr Jerry Akwei Thompson, as Ga South Municipal Chief Executive.
A statement issued by Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development in Accra on Tuesday said, Mr Thompson was nominated by virtue of Section 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana and Section 20 (1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
