CACI donates to two institutions

The Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) on Thursday presented a cheque for GH¢5,000.00 to North Suntreso Government Hospital and assorted items worth Gh¢ 4,000.00 to Kumasi Central Prisons.

The items included 10 bags of rice, five bags of sugar, 10 gallons of oil, 10 boxes of insecticides, 10 cartons of key soap, 10 cartons of mackerel, 25 boxes of soft drinks, 50 packets of toilet rolls and five cartons of tomato paste.

The Chairman of CACI, Apostle Stephen Kwame Ntow Ammonia who presented the items on behalf of the church said the donations formed part of the social responsibilities of the church.

He commended the two institutions for working hard to promote the welfare of the people, especially the sick and the destitute in the society who needs special assistance.

Mr Edward Aboah, the Administrator of the Hospital, received the cheque whilst Chief Superintendent E. D. Anane of the Kumasi Central Prisons received the items on behalf of the prisons.

The two recipients expressed gratitude to the church for coming to their aid.

Mr Owusu Aboah expressed the hope that other public-spirited individuals and organisations will follow the example.

At another ceremony, the church donated two Toyota four-wheel vehicles to the Northern and Volta Regional Missions Directorate of the CACI to promote missionary work in the two regions.**
