Agricare rewards Atwima-Nwabiagya best poultry farmer

Agricare Limited, producers of quality feed and concentrates, has presented one metric ton of layer mash valued at Gh¢1,000.00 to 57-year old Ms Susana Oduro Asare, the 2011 Atwima-Nwabiagya District best poultry farmer.

This was in fulfillment of the company’s pledge to reward outstanding poultry farmers every year.

Mr William Awuku Ahiadormey, the Managing Director, who presented the prize, underlined the determination of the company to continue the free nation-wide training in poultry and aquaculture management.

This was the company’s contribution towards efforts at helping to grow the poultry industry.

He praised the award winner for her hard work and dedication. Ms Oduro Asare, who is the owner of “Kaakyire Farms” at Seidi said she was grateful to Agricare Limited for the honor.

She invited her colleague farmers to do more to expand their businesses.

Ms Josephine Amo, District Director of Food and Agriculture, urged farmers to take advantage of the technical expertise of the staff of the Ministry of food and Agriculture to increase production.**
