Kojo Yankah Commissions School Blocks

Abura Tuakwa (C/R), June 27, – The Central Regional Minister, Mr Kojo Yankah, has commissioned a primary and junior secondary school block each for the people of Abura Tuakwa and Aboase-Obohen The blocks built at a total cost of 251 million cedis were financed by the district assembly. The primary school block has six classrooms, an office and a store while the JSS has three classrooms, an office, a store and a library. At Abura Tuakwa, Mr Yankah expressed concern about the high rate of school drop-outs in the country and called on parents to cooperate with teachers to check the problem which he said is a threa He cautioned teachers against absenteeism and luke-warm attitude towards work, stressing that it is incumbent upon them to produce quality manpower to take over the leadership mantle of the coun
